Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
A comprehensive two-year professional teacher education programme designed to develop reflective, competent, and ethical secondary and senior secondary school educators.
Eligibility for B.Ed. (Bachelor in Education)
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree with Two school subjects or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the programme.
Reservation Policy
50% of the seats in the college are reserved for candidates of the Muslim Minority community. The rest of the seats will be filled up according to the reservation policy of the State Government. Reserved seats, if left vacant, will be filled up by general candidates.
Reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks in favor of the reserved categories shall strictly be as per the rules and notifications of the Government of Bihar.
How To Apply
From 2018, the Hon'ble Chancellor of Universities of Bihar has issued a notification regarding B.Ed. admission that in the State of Bihar, admission to B.Ed. courses will be conducted through the Combined Entrance Examination (CET-B.Ed.) conducted by the Nodal University.
The Nodal University is decided by the Chancellor's Office. For admission to the B.Ed. course at National Teachers' Training College, Patna, students must follow the notifications published in leading newspapers and the official Bihar CET-B.Ed. portal at the start of each new academic session.
